Outdoor Space Refresh with New Greenery and Planters

At G&C Landscaping, we had the pleasure of revitalizing an outdoor space into something truly special. Our task involved giving this area a fresh look by swapping out the old plants and adding new vegetation to enhance the appeal of the space. The first step in our project was removing the outdated taxus hicks, which had grown tired over the years.

In their place, we planted vibrant new taxus hicks to provide a robust and lush backdrop. The corner of the yard now features these new additions, standing strong and ready to integrate seamlessly with the established greenscape. Alongside them, the freshly added hostas introduce a new layer of texture and liveliness, setting the stage for the seasonal changes to display.

To add a dash of color, we introduced red buds, strategically placed to create visual interest throughout different parts of the garden. These spots of color not only break the monotony of green but also echo an inviting atmosphere that complements the homeowner's style.

One of the standout features we included is the sleek artificial grass, giving the area a well-maintained look without the hassle of upkeep. Its presence enhances the modern aesthetic while blending harmoniously with the traditional elements of the landscape.

Another highlight of this project is the addition of stylish concrete planters. These were chosen to offer a contemporary touch, housing some of the new hostas and allowing for flexibility in arranging and rearranging while maintaining a consistent theme with the rest of the design. The planters also facilitate customizability if the client wants to introduce more variety in the future.
